Rojan Dumaru — Backend Developer

Backend Developer building reliable systems with Python & Django.

I design and build the parts of a product that have to keep working — REST APIs, data models, integrations and the workflows that connect them.

Building the parts that have to keep working.

I build backend systems with Python and Django, with a particular focus on REST APIs, data-driven applications, integrations and reliable application architecture.

Most of my work sits behind the interface: designing models, writing secure and effective APIs with the Django REST Framework, wiring up third-party services, and keeping the data layer predictable as a product grows.

    Project: Vedic Sewa

Vedic Sewa is a spiritual-services platform that helps users discover gurus, book consultations and services, join yatras, and access spiritual content.

    • Integrated Agora RTC for live audio and video streams, generating secure, time-limited channel tokens from the backend.
    • Managed live-session participants, including host mute controls and the ability to end a session for everyone.
    • Integrated Agora Cloud Recording and built a workflow that forwards recordings to Cloudflare Stream for transcoding and secure signed playback links.
    • Developed core backend modules covering guru profiles, bookings, payments, chat, notifications, reviews, yatra packages, e-commerce and search.
